— Like the title states, this entire weekend was the best experience of 2025 for me! I had been wanting to get my certification for about two years. Prior to this class, I had never snorkeled.. let alone dive. I am really glad that I waited though.
— I was very anxious coming in as I had zero experience in this hobby and was a bit late my first day.. but right off the bat I felt completely welcomed! The young girl that worked in store on my first day was so kind and eased my mind. I met with my instructor shortly after. His easy going, yet professional personality made me comfortable and allowed me to easily communicate with him. I greatly appreciated his patience and the knowledge that he shared during the entire dive course.
— A huge pet peeve of mine is getting water in my nose haha. The most difficult part of my training was learning to clear my mask correctly. Ugh. That had me very frustrated and feeling defeated; however, Damon practiced with me multiple times until I was able to complete the task at least twice. He really set me up for success during the first class, so the rest of the time diving would be a breeze! The confidence boost alone after being able to do that one skill correctly was great!
— Not only did he have a clear answer for any questions I had, but he also assisted me in finding a mask that would fit my face better. I ended purchasing it after the course was finished because it made SUCH a difference! Plus, he explained to me the different ways to defog a mask other than using a defog product. I am grateful for all the tricks and advice!
— I had been so eager to learn to dive and get underwater.. but the actual experience didn’t even compare to what I had imagined. The whole weekend shifted my perspective after getting my toes wet (literally lol). It made me fall harder into my passion towards marine life. I’ve been inspired to truly strive for my goals. Panama City Diving took me a step closer to the dream I didn’t think I’d be able to follow. My instructor’s advice and praise has encouraged me to not second guess myself. Everyone I met was fantastic to work with and learn from. THANK YOU!

A great day! Our Dive Master, Damon, did a great job of getting us re-acquainted with the important skills and techniques needed for safe diving. It has been many years since we went diving and the guidance was invaluable. The diving at St. Andrews State Park was perfect for practicing our skills in the "kiddie pool" and then swimming outside the jetty for some fun and exploration. Thank you!
